Pictures from the filming of the movie entitled Ladder 49, starring John Travolta.

The movie is due to open in theaters on October 8, 2004. Hopefully we didn't end up on the cutting room floor.

The camera is mounted on the front of Engine 33 which is housed with Ladder 49 in the movie. Here the camera is starting with a shot of us. We figured we would take a picture before the camera started rolling.

One of the camera trucks goes back up the street to film another take. This scene was filmed many times.

Day two of filming.  We spent the day in a cemetary filming one or more funerals.

No actors here, these are real Baltimore City Firefighters posing with Engine 33. Note that the hose bed is empty in order to hold a casket and someone's gear is draped on the back.
