Pictures from the filming of the movie entitled Ladder 49, starring John Travolta.
The movie is due to open in theaters on October 8, 2004. Hopefully we didn't end up on the cutting room floor.
These pictures were taken on day two of filming in a Baltimore cemetery for a funeral scene.
Day two of filming took place in a Baltimore cemetery, in and out of the rain. First they told us that they wanted to film the scene in the rain. It wasn't raining so they put up sprinkler towers so they could make it rain. Then they changed their minds and wanted to film the scene dry. Then came the real rain.
In picture one, from left to right: Chris Serafin, Corey Loux, Hugh Hager, Herb Hess and Mark Chaikin. This was taken before the real rain.
At first when the real rain came we used umbrellas. When they discovered that the rain was going to last a while, we went into tents to wait the rain out.
That's us at least most of us under the middle umbrella. The rest of the group is under the big tree.
Just filming in the rain.

The rain didn't clear up until after lunch. Here we are taking advantage of the great lunch the crew provided us with.
